Born in Pamplona, Spain, I now live between Austin, TX, Puerto Rico, Virgin Gorda and Spain. I have a graduate degree in Journalism, Radio, Film and TV from the University of Navarra. For some people, finding a career or vocation is easy. For others, it takes a lifetime to discover what truly defines us. I've always found myself in the second group. Unable to settle like the majority of my peers, I've established my "base camp" in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands) where I've been able to embrace my ideal lifestyle, discovered my passion for surfing and everything related to the beautiful ocean.
I decided I would need to create a career that suited my nomadic lifestyle, and Social Media was the perfect fit. Coming from a "hand written" generation, I've evolved with the times as an Independent Social Media Community Manager, Creative Writer, Website Developer & Photographer. All of my clients are entrepreneurs. My biggest step in understanding them was becoming one myself. I like to know my clients, interact with them, take my own pictures and understand their product from a customer’s perspective, as well as a business owner's.
Having my family & friends spread across the globe, my soul in the Caribbean, and the love of my life in Austin, TX made me swim against the current. After years of working the 9-5 grind as a chief editor, content producer, proofreader, copywriter, account executive, travel & restaurant reviewer and TV host, I found that fulfilling the needs and goals of my employers would ultimately leave my own goals merely dreams.
